Seminar & Workshop on Interlocking Concrete Pavers

Seminar / Workshop in brief The concept of using interlocking pavers dates back to ancient civilisation. Interlocking Concrete Pavers (ICP) for road pavements had been adopted and widely used in various applications throughout the world and has been accepted for its aesthetics as well as specialised pavement solutions. In Malaysia, Interlocking Concrete Pavers (ICP) have been used for driveways, parking lots, walkways, recreational parks, landscaping works, and in revitalising old and even new townships. However, to date there are no standard guidelines established for the Interlocking Concrete Pavers (ICP) in Malaysia. Thus, the primary objective of this seminar and workshop is to share the ICP knowledge with all users and potential users, as well as to gather views and opinions from relevant stakeholders towards establishing guidelines for ICP application. This seminar and workshop will consist of a half-day seminar on ICP and the remaining day will focus on discussing the contents of ICP methodology deemed suitable for the formulation guidelines.
